Functional Training and Sports performance are the latest trends at the moment. Combining functional movement patterns to engage several muscle groups rather than being so isolated with our workouts is fast becoming the next way forward in Personal Training. However we need to be sure that all the muscles and joints that are involved in these movement patterns are free from dysfunction and compensations.

Prior to beginning your Personal Training with myself you will undergo a full Biomechanical Assessment which allows me to build a programme bespoke to your individual needs. The in depth screening process will help me understand how your system is currently working and whether there is dysfunction preventing you from achieving your goals. Let me emphasise that if it isn’t functioning it can’t be functional.

Throughout your time working with myself you will undergo continued reassessment to monitor progress and track your goals whilst staying injury free.

Personal training can be tailored to the individual whether you are out to become more active or are building towards a specific goal such as a Triathlon or an organised event.
